Off Campus Access to Library Resources
Beginning August 2016 off campus medportal users will have to enter their MAC ID into the Off-campus Access login screen to access library resources. Please note: username and password is your MAC ID and MAC ID password.
Off-campus access login should only occur once a session (if you open a different browser you will have to login again). Once you have entered your MacID you should not have to enter it again.
If you are on campus (including the Niagara and Waterloo campuses) you should not have to log use your Mac ID to view library material (with the exception of Up-to-Date).
If you are having problems with MAC ID (including not having a MAC ID, or forgetting your username or password) visit the medportal MAC ID help page.
If you are having problems accessing library resources off campus please visit the library help page concerning Off-campus access OR contact the Health Sciences Library Information desk at hslib@mcmaster.ca
