The mock assessments help to identify any technology-related barriers or concerns ahead of time.  At least two days before you sit your first authentic assessment, please take the time to complete at least one zero-stakes test on Examplify. 

Mock assessments should be available for download the first time that a student opens Examplify.

There are two mock assessments available –

“ExamSoft Tour Mock Quiz” includes questions that will help you to become familiar with the Examplify interface.

“Short Answer Mock Quiz”/ “New Exam Taker MC Mock Quiz” includes basic arithmetic problems and questions about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. 

To download and enter a mock assessment:

1.       Launch Examplify on your laptop

2.       Click “Refresh Exam List” in the bottom left corner of the window

3.       Click on the exam file you want to download, and then click the “Download” button

4.       ExamSoft advises that you temporarily disable your anti-virus software and close all other applications before starting the assessment

5.       Enter the exam password.  (For mock assessments, the password is asd123)

6.       Click on “Start Exam” to open the assessment. 

7.    Sit tight: Examplify is creating a secure test-taking environment.  Depending on what other applications you left running, this process may take between 30 sec to 3 min.
Your other applications are being closed until you exit the assessment;
You will not be able to switch to another application until you exit the assessment;
You will be disconnected from the internet until you exit the assessment.

8.   Follow the prompts to begin answering questions.
