How do staff check who has downloaded and/or uploaded an assessment?
1. To check student’s activity with a particular assessment, log into ExamSoft and click on the “Assessments” link at the top of the landing page.
This will take you to the list of assessments.2. On the assessments page, use the folder menu on the left side of the page to navigate to where the assessment in question is saved.
Click on the name of the folder to view the assessments saved therein, the click on the assessment’s name to view the details for that assessment.
3. Clicking on an assessment always takes you first to a page describing the contents of the assessment.
Near the top of the page, click on the “Exam Taker Activity” tab to view which students have downloaded and/or uploaded an assessment.
4. The information in the “Exam Taker Activity” tab updates each time the page is opened or refreshed.
The “Last D/L” column lists the date-and-time stamp when each student downloaded to their personal computer the assessment file. The absence of a date-and-time stamp indicates that the corresponding student has not yet downloaded the assessment.
The “Upload Date” column lists the date-and-time stamp when each student uploaded from their personal computer the completed assessment file. The absence of a date-and-time stamp indicates that the corresponding student has not yet uploaded the assessment.
The list of students can be sorted by download or upload time by clicking on the corresponding heading.
If necessary, you can click on the camera icon to view the time stamps for when the corresponding student entered responses during the assessment.
