  How To Setup Email Using IMAP on a BlackBerry device

In your medportal email, first enable IMAP.

  1. In your email, click "Settings" at the top right
  2. Click "Forwarding and POP/IMAP"
  3. Click "Enable IMAP"
  4. Click "Save Changes"

Now on your BlackBerry device, add the account.

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts. Tap Add Account (on the bottom) then Advanced.
  2. Choose Gmail
  3. Your BlackBerry should auto fill most of the fields, complete the following fields
    • Description: Enter a description for your account (i.e. medportal mail)
    • Display Name: Enter a display name, enter your name here
    • Username: Enter your full medportal username firstname.lastname@medportal.ca
    • Email Address: Again enter your full medportal username
  4. Near the bottom of the page, select your sync settings
  5. Tap Next
  6. Sign in through Google, using your full medportal username
  7. On the next page tap Accept to allow the permissions

Your medportal email account should now be added to your Blackberry device.
