  Show/Hide calendars in your view

The Google calendar will allow you to show and hide certain calendars, so you can customize your view at any time to show only the events in a certain calendar, or number of calendars.

To the left side of your calendar screen, you will see two sections. "My calendars" and "Other calendars". These two will have all the calendars that you are capable of displaying and you will notice (unless you have changed them) that most or all of them are highlighted in a solid colour with white text. This colour corresponds to the same coloured events in your calendar, for easy reference.

When you click on one of these highlighted calendar names, it will no longer be highlighted (the area goes white) and the text turns to the colour of the events on that calendar. When the name is no longer highlighted, that means the events in that calendar are hidden. When you click the calendar on and off, notice that the events for that calendar appear and disappear from your view.
