Copy an event to a different calendar

To copy an existing event to another calendar in your "My calendars" list, do the following:

  1. Open your calendar by clicking "my calendars" in the medportal icons at the top of your screen
  2. In your calendar, use the arrows above to navigate to the event you wish to copy
  3. Click on the event text. This should open a green "Event Details" screen
  4. In the drop down list that says "More Actions..." above the green section, select the calendar you wish to copy the event to.
  5. This will automatically begin a new event creation and fill in identical details to the event that you are copying, only the calendar selection shows the new calendar. Make any changes you want to this new event.
  6. Click "Save"
  7. Your event now exists in both calendars

Q: Why can't I select one of my calendars from the drop down list?
A: You may only copy events to a calendar that you have permission to create events within. Those will be all the calendars listed under "My calendars". By default, when your account created, only your personal calendar is available for you to create events in.
