  Publish a portfolio entry

To publish an entry in your RPP Portfolio for your LF and select other students to see, follow these simple steps:

  1. Within medportal, from the Professional Competencies page, click the "Reflective Physician Portfolio" link.
  2. On the Reflective Physician Portfolio page, click the "New Post" button.
  3. In the field that says "Post Title", type the Title, or Subject of today's reflective thinking.
  4. Below that, type the body of your entry. You may use the toolbar to format it how you wish and you may even embed media, files and links.
  5. Click "Save Draft" if you are not entirely sure you wish to submit at this time, or would like the opportunity to go back later and make changes.
  6. If you are content that this is a final product, click "Publish".
NOTE: When you click "Publish", the entry will appear in your profile permanently. You will not be able to edit or delete the entry. You can think of it like a "virtual drop box". Once you have dropped your submission into the box, you may not retrieve it, so look over your entry carefully before submitting.

Your entry will now be available as a draft, or appear in your portfolio, depending on the decision you made in steps 5-6.
