You just need to link it to your @medportal.ca account to continue.
Why am I seeing this? You successfully logged in with your MacID, but the connection to your medportal account hasn't been set up yet. To access medportal using your MacID (@mcmaster.ca), you must link it to your @medportal.ca account in advance.
Why isn't it automatic? Our system cannot safely guess which medportal account belongs to you, as the email address formats are completely different. Sadly CSU\UTS doesn't have this data to help us make this smoother. Good news is that this only has to happen once.
How to I validate\verify my MacID?
Step 1: Add the link in medportal
- Visit the account page
- Locate the field marked "MacID account link"
- Enter your @mcmaster.ca email address
- Click Save Changes
Step 2: Click verification link in your McMaster email account
- Within the next few minutes you will be sent an email to your @mcmaster.ca account
- Click the Confirm Email Address button
- You will be sent back to medportal to complete the link
- You should now see the following in your account page
You're all set!
Your MacID is successfully linked. You can now use it to log into medportal.
