I'm sorry, what do you mean?

Medportal requires you to link your @medportal.ca account to your @mcmaster.ca account in advance through your my account page. If you arrived here after successful MacID login it means you haven't created the link yet.

The reason for this is we have no idea which medportal account should be selected upon successful MacID login automatically as the email address structure is radically different.  Medportal also doesn't allow random logins, you need a valid @medportal.ca GSuite account created in advance by us.

How to I validate\verify my MacID?

Step 1: Add the link in medportal

• Visit the account page
  
• Locate the field marked "MacID account link"
  
  
• Enter your @mcmaster.ca email address
• Click Save Changes
  

Step 2: Click verification link in your McMaster email account

• Within the next few minutes you will be sent an email to your @mcmaster.ca account
• Click the Confirm Email Address button
• You will be sent back to medportal to complete the link
• You should now see the following in your account page
  
  

Logging in with your MacID should now work
