  How do faculty and staff preview an assessment?

1. Log into ExamSoft at http://www.examsoft.com/mcmastermed 
You will be taken into the ExamSoft portal. 

2. Click on “Assessments” in the black ribbon at the top of the page.  You will be taken to the Assessments section of ExamSoft.

3. In the list of folders on the left side of the page, click on the plus symbols to expand the folders, and click on the name of the folder itself to view the list of assessments saved in that folder.  
Click on the name of the assessment you wish to preview. 
You will be taken to the list of questions that compose the assessment.

4. Scroll towards the bottom of the page (past the list of questions), and click on the “Preview” button.

5. After you click “Preview”, a message box will pop up prompting you with instructions to install Examplify and view the Preview Assessment.  Click “OK” and follow those instructions to view the assessment as students will see it.

6. When you open and log into Examplify, you may need to click on “Refresh Exam List” in order for the preview to appear in your list of assessments.  Sometimes it can take up to five minutes for a preview assessment to become available in your version of Examplify.

7. Select the preview file in the list on the left side of the window, then click on the “Download Exam Preview” button.

8. Click on the “Start Exam Preview” button to view the assessment as a student will see it.
