Please note the exact instructions may vary from device to device but should remain similar for all Android devices. These instructions are based off of a Samsung Galaxy device running Android 4.4.2 and will help you to setup your medportal mail, calendar and Google Drive.
- Press the "Menu" button
- Click on "Settings"
- Click on the "General" tab
- Click on "Accounts"
- Click the "+ Add Account" button at the bottom
- Click "Google" for the account type
- Click on "Existing"
- Fill in your "Username" with your medportal ID
- Fill in your "Password" with your medportal password
- Click the right arrow button
- You may need to agree to Google's terms
- Wait a moment for the account to sync
- Choose whether or not to receive Communications from Google Play
- Click the right arrow button
- Choose to setup a payment method or click on "Skip"
- Check the box next to "Sync Gmail" & "Sync Calendar"(Calendar is optional but nice to have) and any other Google services you'd like synced with your phone.
- Wait again while the account syncs with Google, you may have to press the "Sync now" button
- Click the "Finish setup" button, congratulations your medportal account is now synced to your Android phone
